“Now these three remain: faith, hope, and love. But the greatest of these is love.”

On Purpose
On Building Community
My work begins with a single question: how do we live together? Across writing, teaching and organising, I study the habits and institutions that let people hold power to account without losing one another in the process.
That question runs through a memoir on political ambition, essays on power and Africa, and years spent building rooms — classrooms, podcasts, youth initiatives — where young people practise citizenship rather than only read about it.
Newsletter
A Politics of Love
A bimonthly letter on the state of community — local, national, global — and the love-based politics required to defend and build it. Each edition is analysis, commentary, or a dispatch from wherever the work of community is being tested.
